THQ Nordic announced that it has acquired the rights to the Outcast brand, originally created by Appeal. The IP joined the constantly growing portfolio of the Swedish giant.

Outcast is getting a remake called Outcast: Second Contact. The game will be made by the original creators Appeal and published by Bigben Interactive for PC, XONE, and PS4 in early 2017.
