Forbidden Siren 2, like the first installment of the cycle, is a survival horror game created by Keiichiro Toyama, the author of the cult Silent Hill series. The action of the programme takes us to Yamijima Island (Island of Darkness), where Dante scenes took place 29 years ago and all its then inhabitants disappeared in mysterious circumstances.

Syberia II continues the plot of the first installment - it presents the further adventures of Kate Walker, an American lawyer. Her intention of finalizing a contract led her to the adventure of her life. The game starts in the same place where the first Syberia ended – in the Russian city Romansburg.

Her only weapon in the fight against the inhabitants of the hereafter is a camera. Outside the European market the game is known as Fatal Frame III: The Tormented.
