PlayStation 3 is the 7th generation console from Sony. It was released on November 17th, 2006 in North America and March 23rd, 2007 in Europe. PS3 came about a year later than its biggest rival – Xbox 360 from Microsoft – so it didn’t manage to conquer the market as PlayStation 2 had done a couple of years earlier. Also, complicated architecture of the console – based on the Cell CPU which became a pain in the neck for game developers – made it harder to achieve great sales results. PlayStation 3 was succeeded by PlayStation 4 in 2013.

Dragon Age: Origins - Witch Hunt (PS3)

RPG 07 September 2010

The last of many DLC add-ons for Dragon Age: Origins, the game created by BioWare studio – developers of the base title. Expansion refers to one of the base game campaign's story arcs, allowing us to once again meet the dark and mysterious Morrigan. During a completely new adventure we find out what happened with the witch after the end of the main plot of Dragon Age. Although she vanished without a trace for a whole year, there are rumors about her returning to Ferelden, and our task is to find out what exactly Morrigan wants. Besides new quests, the DLC features two new team members: mage Finn and elven warrior Ariane. Traditionally, as a reward for completing the expansion we can get previously unavailable unique items that we can use in other adventures (including those in other DLCs).

RPG 11 October 2011

A downloadable content for Dragon Age II, the second installment of the popular fantasy RPG series created by BioWare. Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin introduces a new character that can join our party—an elven assassin named Tallis who is modeled after and voiced by Felicia Day. With her appearance, the player has an opportunity to take part in a new adventure that focuses on a magic relict called the Heart of the Many. The heroes have to find this rare item, which is no small task since it was apparently hidden in an Orlaisian baron’s estate. Mark of the Assassin allows the players to visit a new outside of Kirkwall, encounter new enemies, and make use of an expanded weapon arsenal, among other things. Gameplay-wise, Mark of the Assassin bases on the solutions of the vanilla Dragon Age II, so it is still a real-time party-based RPG with active pause.
