The Utopia expansion introduces an array of innovations and improvements, the first and foremost being an option of building so-called megastructures. This enigmatic name stands for giant, ring-shaped artificial worlds or even ones resembling a Dyson sphere, i.e. massive construction that completely encompasses a star and efficiently consumes all the energy emitted by it.

Gameplay mechanics draw inspiration from Master of Magic, the cult strategy game by Micropose.
