Afterbirth introduces many novelties, including a new final area with a unique boss and ending. However, it doesn’t change the game mechanics, as we once again play a roguelike arcade title, exploring randomly generated locations, discovering secrets and fighting enemies.

We play as a hero seeking for the legendary weapon that can change the past of a distant planet.
