Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine is a continuation of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series, this time focusing on cooperation between three players, trying to eliminate a deadly parasite of unknown origin. The game was created by Ubisoft Montreal.

Plot

In the game players assume the role of one of three soldiers, sent on a mission to seek and eliminate a mysterious, murderous parasite.

Mechanics

Rainbow Six Quarantine is a game with a different atmosphere than its predecessors. This time, players receive a tactical shooter enriched with elements of survival horror, because the opponent, with whom players will have to fight, is not ordinary. An alien parasite mutates and murders its victims, and players are threatened by sharing their fate. However, thanks to the Rainbow team's abilities and good cooperation with other players, one is able to stop the mysterious virus and find out what they are dealing with.

At a closed press conference, Ubisoft informed about the delay of the upcoming AAA titles, including Watch Dogs Legion. The reasons for this are the unsatisfactory sales results of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and the reduction of financial targets for this year.

The CEO of Ubisoft announced yesterday that the productions that have recently been delayed to the next financial year will be released both on the current- and next-gen consoles. The games in question are three AAA titles - Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine and two more unannounced titles.

In order to avoid another commercial disaster, Ubisoft intends to better communicate to players what the the games it announces will actually be. In addition, by default each title is to be equipped with a cross-play function.
