Another installment of the critically acclaimed strategy games series launched in 2000 by Battlefront.com. The action takes place in times of the World War II and focuses on the battle on the Western Front between October 1944 and January 1945, which culminated in the famous German offensive in the Ardennes. Gameplay-wise, Combat Mission: Final Blitzkrieg, as befits the series, is a classical We-Go strategy game — the events take place in real time, although we can issue orders only with the active pause mode on. Traditionally, the title’s strong point is realism. We will find faithfully recreated battlefields and actual military units, including their tactics and real-world hardware. The title offers three separate story campaigns (and a training one) as well as 25 individual scenarios in which we can side either with Germans or Americans.

Another installment in the turn-based war strategy game series developed by Battlefront studios. The game features a realistic setting, allowing the players to participate in battles between the forces of Russia and Ukraine. The developers decided to present an alternative turn of events, in which Ukraine joins the European Union and NATO, forcing Russia to move their army closer to the Ukrainian border. The international tension is heated by fights that are breaking out in Donetsk, which in turn leads to a war between Russia and the West. The player gets the opportunity to control each side of the conflict. The battles feature a typical for the series turn-based system, in which the player issues orders and watches the results of his / her decisions. The game is based on the third generation of the proprietary engine designed by Battlefront, which allows the players to cover distances on water areas, dispatch military drones, call in precise artillery strikes, as well as disrupt satellites and radio systems.

Red Thunder is the next installment of the award-winning series of realistic strategy games called Combat Mission. Studio Battlefront.com once again takes us into the realities of World War II, but this time it allows us to take part in Operation Bagration, the events of 1944, in which the Red Army launched an offensive to the West, breaking the Wehrmacht's pressure. The gameplay mechanisms have remained roughly unchanged in relation to previous editions - the introduced innovations are rather cosmetic in nature.
