Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (Switch)
Action 29 June 2018
Another installment of the best-selling FPS series, and at the same time a direct continuation to Wolfenstein: The New Order created by Machine Games. The Action of Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is set in 1961 – after waking up from a coma B.J. Blazkowicz and his companions find the United States of America occupied by the Nazis. The main protagonist finds common ground with the leaders of the local resistance, and decides to help them fight the invaders. As in the previous Wolfenstein installment, the gameplay in The New Colossus features exploration, completing consecutive missions, and eliminating scores of diverse foes. The players are given a wide range of murderous weapons – including not only classic firearms but also some more elaborate pieces. Interestingly, once again the developers have decided to abandon health regeneration mechanics in favor of the old-school med-kit system. The game features high-quality 3D graphics – in comparison to its predecessor, the most significant are the texture and special effect enhancements that accompany the gunfights.
Serial Cleaner (Switch)
Action 30 November 2017

Serial Cleaner takes place in America of the 1970s and you play as a seemingly ordinary citizen, who's really the eponymous “cleaner,” specializing in cleaning crime scenes—getting rid of the bodies, evidence, and blood. The missions in the game are based on real crime scenes from the 1970s, and your task is to efficiently clean them without getting noticed by the policemen patrolling the area. The game gives you complete freedom and rewards you for exploring, making quick decisions and experimenting with different methods of solving a problem. Your task is made slightly easier by the fact that the policemen are a rather lazy and not quite clever bunch, and they don't pay much attention to their duties.

Adventure 01 March 2018
A side-scrolling horror/adventure game. Detention is a debut project of Taiwanese studio Red Candle Games. The action of the game takes place in Taiwan during the 1960s, in the middle of martial law that lasted 37 years. We are taken to Greenwood, a high-school placed in a mountainous area. The players assume the role of two students who discover that the school became inhabited by wicked monsters known from local legends. Their mission is to survive, as well as to discover the origins of the mysterious evil. Detention is built on exploration, gathering items, and solving riddles, all performed through a classic point-and-click interface. Our protagonists are practically helpless in open combat, so their only way to deal with the danger is to hide and lay traps, and escape if need be. The two-dimensional visuals are quite interesting, as the developers were inspired by the mythology of China and Taiwan, as well as Taoist and Buddhist beliefs.
Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure Deluxe Edition (Switch)
Arcade 29 December 2017
An arcade sports game developed by Curve Digital in which we assume control of a professional dodgeball duo. We are taken to the 1970s and introduced to Bjorn and Jerome, a dodgeball duo supported by a demanding coach. When it turns out that their rivals have been abducted in the eve of the final match, the heroes, unwilling to accept a walkover, embark on a journey to free their opponents from the hands of the devil himself. When it comes to mechanics, the game offers a streamlined, fun-oriented gameplay instead of an authentic dodgeball experience. Our goal is to defeat the opponents by hitting them with a ball or a different item at least twice. To avoid being hit, we can employ dodges, jumps, or intercept incoming objects. The game is characterized by colorful, cartoonish visuals and a soundtrack influenced by the music of 1970s.
