Traffic Rider Description
Traffic Racer is an arcade motorbike game developed for AND and iOS. The production is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by SK Games studio.
Mechanics
We play as a motorcyclist rushing through routes full of other vehicles. Our task is to avoid collisions. The controls are similar to traditional racing games - we can speed up and slow down and smoothly control our position on the road. Also, every road is straight and without turns. It is not possible to change the direction of traffic, so in practice, we mainly deal with moving from one lane to another. It doesn't mean, however, that the game is easy. The routes are usually densely populated with vehicles that can suddenly slow down at random moments.
At the beginning of the game we get only one motorbike, but then we can unlock a large set of additional machines - whether it's thanks to achievements or micropayments.
Game modes
Traffic Rider offers an extensive campaign mode with forty routes. At each of them, our task is to get to the finish line, but there are also numerous optional tasks, the completion of which increases the final score. The authors have also prepared the endless mode. Here, the player drives on an endless randomly generated route. Sooner or later, everyone here makes one mistake too much and the ride ends in a collision. In this way, the game revolves around attempts to cover as much distance as possible.
Technical aspects
It is worth mentioning that the game offers two control modes - using a virtual gamepad on the touch screen or by tilting the device using an accelerometer. In addition, each of these options can be configured to a large extent.
