Victor Vran: Mötorhead Through The Ages

Motörhead: Through the Ages for PC is a vast expansion for the 2015 hack’n’slash, Victor Vran. Motörhead, a classic hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1975 inspired the game.

Motörhead: Through the Ages was developed by Haemimont Games, creators of the original Victor Vran and games like Omreta: City of Gangsters and the last three games from the Tropico series.

The Plot

Just like in the base game, we play as Victor Vran. However, Motörhead: Through the Ages for PC steps away from the main game dark fantasy stylistics and introduces a world inspired by Motörhead's lyrics and album covers. The plot focuses on stopping the evil Queen of the Damned. The game is a unique mixture of dark medieval, Wild West, and science fiction elements. We will face more ‘modern’ types of enemies, like religious fanatics, corrupt politicians, or power-hungry dictators.

Mechanics

Gameplay mechanics in Motörhead: Through the Ages for PC is identical to the base game. Through the Ages is still a solid hack’n’slash werhe we explore new locations, slay hordes of enemies, and grind the character. The expansions offer a completely new campaign with new enemies and bosses. Victor also has new skills and weaponry at his disposal.

Game Modes

Motörhead: Through the Ages for PC offers the same game modes as the base game, we can eliminate the monster alone, or with friends in coop multiplayer.

Technical Aspects

The expansion uses the same engine as the base game, but the overall stylistics was visibly inspired by Motörhead’s music and album covers. Through the Ages OST is made of Motörhead’s songs, some previously unreleased.
