A sequel to the unusual fighting game, Super Smash Bros., from 2001, which was one of the most popular productions released for the Nintendo GameCube console. The characteristic feature of the series is the fact that fighters are the most famous heroes from Nintendo’s games, with such characters as the plumber Mario, Link from The Legend of Zelda, pink Kirby and his eternal enemy Meta Knight, Pikachu, and even Solid Snake – main protagonist of the Metal Gear Solid series. The game stands out with a huge amount of comedy and is far from being a typical fighting game, employing many elements from platformer games. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, battles take place on multilevel arenas, and numerous gadgets can help help you in achieving victory or complementing unique attacks and special moves of each fighter. A strong point of the game is its multiplayer mode for up to 4 players, which allows you to duel with people from all around the world.

Action 18 May 2010

Another major installment in the famous action adventure game series. In terms of story, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, and focuses on the events that caused the drastic, dark change within the Prince. Upon reaching his brother’s realm, the Prince finds the capital city about to fall, besieged by an enemy army. In an attempt to protect the citizens from a massacre, the city’s ruler resorts to using a powerful, yet dangerous magic that eventually turns against him. The game itself is based on the core mechanics of the series. Therefore, we can expect multiple platforming sequences, environmental puzzles, and battles against powerful enemies. An interesting addition is the ability to control the forces of natures, which comes in handy both in combat and when traversing subsequent locations. Of course the series’ landmark feature — the ability to reverse and slow down time — is back. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is powered by the Anvil engine, the technology previously used in the two first Assassin’s Creed games.

A remake of the classic first-person shooter, originally released in 1997 for Nintendo 64. The story is loosely based on the 1995's film of the same title, which tells the story of a prototype Russian satellite weapon capable of destroying the balance of power in the world. In search of it, James Bond visits various locations around the world, including some that were absent from the movie (Kyrgyzstan for example). In the story campaign, 007 not only has to deal with regular enemy soldiers, but also with eight classic villains, serving as the game's boss characters. In comparison to the original game, the protagonist has many more offensive skills (hand-to-hand combat was improved, Bond can perform sneak attacks for example) as well as an expanded set of moves (for instance, jumping over obstacles).
