Its protagonist is a 12th grade student named Max Caulfield, who returns to her home town in Oregon after years of absence. Together with her old friend she tries to solve the mysterious disappearance of her schoolmate, which prompts a series of strange events.

The game's plot is based on authentic letters from the WW1 period and tells the story of five heroes who were were brought together by the war and... a good-willed dog that can influence the fate of people.
