First thing - if:

  • If you're well familiar with the gaming world;
  • you have a great command of English;
  • you're passionate about current and classic Nintendo consoles (Switch, Wii, 3DS);
  • you know a lot about all things Nintendo and you're able to find relevant information yourself;
  • you want to earn by writing about games;
  • you're independent;
  • you are a citizen of the USA;
  • you want to work as a freelancer for a fast-growing website;

...then we've got an offer:

  • payment for every piece of news you write;
  • possibility of promotion and increased responsibility in the team;
  • delegations - active participation in game expositions and behind-closed-doors events.

Why is it worth it?

We're recognizable across the Internet, famous for our video game guides; your task, however, will be to let everyone know a new player has entered the fray. We're looking for a person that has been a passionate of Nintendo for years. It has to be an independent author, skilled in discovering relevant information. Working as a freelancer will allow you to do what you love - write about video games, meet the people that make the industry, attend private presentations of games, and review the biggest hits. If the cooperation is fruitful (and we believe it will be) we'll be more than happy to renegotiate the conditions and expand our collaboration.

What will your first days look like:

  • after a positive review of your application, you will start looking for stories to cover;
  • during the first month, we will expect at least 5 sample pieces of news covering current, Nintendo-related issues, the choice of which will be within your discretion.

What happens later?

  • You will participate in brainstorming and drawing up a strategy for the coming months;
  • you will be expected to deliver 10 news a month, covering Nintendo topics;
  • remember - sometimes part of the job requires rubbing shoulders and casually drinking cocktails with strangers.
