Multiplayer games - common screen Android

In shared-screen, players don't connect to a network - local or online - because the game takes place on a single console or computer. Two or more players play at the same time, but the screen isn't split - all of the characters (or vehicles, or whatever) controlled by the players are visible in the game window. This form of multiplayer is most common in brawlers, platformers (such as the LEGO series), sports simulators, and isometric co-op action games.

One can play the game alone or in cooperation mode for up to four players, each of whom controls a character belonging to one of the available classes. Once again, the players receive access to a complex basketball simulator, in which they can face NBA league teams, or the national teams of US and Australia. Aside from the basic options, allowing the player to engage in single- or multiplayer matches, the creators also included modes such as MyGM and MyLeague. These modes allow the player to take the reins of managing the team, deciding on the color of the outfits, or the logo visible on players’ shirts. The visuals are once again top notch, with an interesting feature in the form of a face recognition system, which allows the players to transfer their likeness to the virtual basketball court.

Angry Birds Evolution
Angry Birds Evolution

Arcade 19 June 2017

Another installment in the popular logic puzzle/arcade game by Finnish studio Rovio. Angry Birds Evolution doesn't feature a complex story campaign: the game is set on a bird island, where the pigs arrive, and your task is to drive them off. The gameplay consists of battles between the two hostile teams. After launching your characters in a way that is distinct for the series, they roll on the floor, eliminating enemies and bouncing off everything in their way. While the basics of the gameplay seem easy, matters are complicated by the design of the levels, which are small and full of obstacles and various interactive elements, e.g. exploding crates. The gameplay is varied thanks to special abilities, which give every bird three unique attacks each. It provides a motivation for unlocking more characters — the game features over 300 of them, and each of them can be upgraded and developed further.

Lost Frontier
Lost Frontier

Strategy 09 June 2016

A turn-based strategy game for mobile devices, set in the American Old West. It was developed by the Mika Mobile studio and takes the player to a land combining the Wild West with occultist ideas. Such a combination gave plenty of room to the creators, when it came to writing the scenarios and inventing the virtual weapons. The game focuses mainly on turn-based battles during which, the player can command over twenty different types of units. Contrary to the majority of similar games however, units do not last longer than through one battle here - the game places a special emphasis on winning at all costs. Later on, the player replenishes the casualties. Only the so-called Living Legends are an exception here, for the player can gradually upgrade their statistics alongside progression. Making good use of their skills, the player is capable of tipping the balance in favour of their victory more than once.
