Multiplayer games - split screen GameCube

With split-screen, players don't connect to a network - local or online - because multiplayer play takes place on a single console or computer. Two or more players - usually a maximum of four - play at the same time, with each player having their own individual piece of screen on a TV or monitor. Split-screen is most popular on consoles, in genres such as shooters and racing games.

Those include, first and foremost, canyon duels, which require much attention, as it is possible to run through the traffic barriers and roll down the slope. The other novelty is the team; you can assemble your own crew, and its members can aid you during races, e.g. by blocking your rivals. Additionally, the game features cut-scenes with real actors, several dozen licensed car models, as well as vast car customization options.
