Rumor: Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 Only in 2021

There have been reports on the web that the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 takes more time than initially planned. As a result, we will probably have to wait until 2021 for the game's release.

Fans of the series must be patient.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD 2 IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: Nintendo
  2. Publisher: Nintendo
  3. Genre: action-adventure game
  4. Platforms: Switch
  5. Release date:possibly 2021

Last year, Nintendo announced the sequel of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the best games of recent years. Unfortunately, the latest rumors suggest that we will have to wait for the production at least until 2021.

The source of these reports is Sabi, a well-informed journalist from Spieltimes. According to him, the work on the project takes more time than initially expected. The original plan was to release The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 at the end of this year, but most probably it will not be possible.

Nintendo fans may find consolation in another rumor. Some time ago Sabi found out that a new installment of the Paper Mario series is being developed. Now, the journalist has confirmed this information from another source and is convinced of its authenticity. The project will probably make its debut this year.

Let us recall that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released in March 2017 for Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. The game proved to be a real masterpiece, with an average rating of 97% on Metacritic. The title has also become a great sales hit, finding over 16 million buyers.
