A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

Shank is a 2D side-scroll platformer with a kind of "beat up" by Klei Entertainment studio. The plot of the game depicts the fate of the title character, a paid killer at the service of the mafia, who wants to take revenge on his former employers for the death of his girlfriend. The game abounds in spectacular battle scenes with the use of various weapons. A large amount of blood gushing on the screen makes the game addressed to adult audiences, despite the comic style convention.

In the game created by the Sonic Team there are two incarnations of Sonik - classic and modern, which try to eliminate holes in space-time. There are many locations in the game, which are a reference to the levels, known to fans of earlier versions of the cycle.

The title was produced by Ron Gilbert and the development team from Double Fine studio (Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Stacking and others). The action of The Cave takes place in the title cave, full of secrets and traps. The player directs the actions of a group of three heroes who roam the corridors of the cave in search of an enigmatic "something". (the goals vary depending on the chosen team composition).

An arcade platform game in a retro style, created by the development team Polytron. We play the role of Gomez, who, living in the 2D world so far, realizes the existence of another dimension. The title presents the game in a rather innovative way, realizing various puzzles using two-dimensional boards in the three-dimensional world. All this takes place in a pixel, colourful design. The game is noteworthy for its unique presentation.

A refreshed version of the classic platform game developed by Broderbund Software in 1989. The player assumes the role of a prince who must stop the evil vizier Jaffar who intends to take over control of Persia by marrying a kidnapped princess. The protagonist must escape from a prison, save his beloved and defeat the usurper. The problem is, all these actions must be completed in less than an hour – otherwise the game ends in failure.

It's the first title produced by Tequila Works, whose members used to work for such companies as Blizzard or Sony. You play as a former national park ranger named Randall Wayne, who's trying to find his missing wife and daughter.

Child of Light is a 2D RPG that combines the elements of modern platformers and Japanese role-playing games. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood.

The title character is an intergalactic courier whose ship accidentally crashes on Earth. Weapon of Choice is a crazy, side-scroll 2D platform of the independent development studio Mommy's Best Games. The action of the game was set in 2188, and the player takes on the role of a soldier of the Solus unit, which is supposed to annihilate hostile aliens. The creators foresaw, among others, a large number of tightly twisted weapons and several variants of ending the game.

This time they must face vampires accompanied by robots and zombies. The developers implemented two scenarios that can be completed alone or in cooperation mode.

The next adventures of the "legendary" game hero, who this time goes back to the roots, that is two-dimensional platformers. The gameplay resembles classic productions of this genre and is geared towards action and a lot of shooting. The whole is very humorous and the authors have parodied, among others, BioShock, Team Fortress 2 and Super Mario.

Arcade canceled

A funny platformer about the adventures of a caveman who was the hero of many older games. A hero with a disproportionately large head must save the world from an incoming comet. We do it in the storytelling mode, which includes the option of playing with two people. The game itself is quite typical - each level is a platform maze with enemies, traps and items to collect.

A combination of a platformer with an action game, telling about the adventures of the title character. Kit Ballard, a crossroads between a woman and a cat, is a mercenary cat, known for the comic strips created by Steve Stamatadis. In the game we go through complicated levels and fight enemies with an unusual, levitating blade. Support for the Kit is provided by her companion, the demonic Skiffy.
