Gray Zone Warfare offers a unique blend of exploration, high-stakes combat, and character progression. At the beginning you choose your allegiance with a Private Military Company and fight for survival in a world fraught with danger. But with a vast map and unforgiving mechanics, getting started can be tough. In this guide, we'll delve into a detailed guide on completing the First Hit quest.

Gray Zone Warfare (GZW) – First Hit task

Regardless of your chosen faction, your initiation in Gray Zone Warfare begins with a message from Handshake. One of his tasks is called First Hit. Here, you'll prove your worth by eliminating a key criminal leader. But remember, in the Gray Zone, loyalty is a fleeting concept. Who you choose to work with now might influence the targets you face down the road. This job pays well in cash, reputation, and a helmet along with experience points.

All you need to do is head to the Marketplace, it’s the largest structure in your starting town. But be prepared, the building and all its surroundings will be crowded with AI opponents. Stock up on ammo and healing supplies like bandages. Consider teaming up with some friends for extra firepower.

The main target wears a red beret, so he’ll be easy to spot. Take it slow and neutralize one foe after another. Once inside, be on guard. The criminal leader is probably on the second floor, so expect him and his crew right on the stairs.
