Underrail: Expedition takes players beyond the metro network known from the original Underrail, offering a vast underground basin known as Black Sea. We are given over a hundred locations to explore – including mysterious ruins, pirate strongholds, laboratories, and islands of various sizes – which are traversed on foot or using a boat. The add-on contains new factions, enemies, abilities, and items.

In this installment, we assume the role of a prisoner sentenced to spend the rest of his life as a slave in an enormous mine. His only hope is fighting his way back to the surface.
