Star Trek: The Original Series - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, released on PS3 and X360, is a special expansion to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Special Edition, >entirely dedicated to the original TV series Star Trek, broadcasted in 1966-1969. Like the other representatives of the series, the title created by Dublesix studio recreates Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? game show. Players take on the role of participants of the game, the rules of which do not differ from what we can see on TV screens.

Mechanics

Our task is to provide the correct answers to the test questions. During the game, we have at our disposal three classic lifelines - hints and tips that can lead us to the correct solution of the question. The first is the rejection of two of the four proposed answers, the second is the opportunity to ask the virtual audience in the studio for clues, and the third is the opportunity to talk to a friend who can clarify our possible doubts. The creators have prepared over 600 questions of various difficulty levels, ranging from exceptionally easy ones, which will be answered by the majority of people who had brief contact with Star Trek, to those that can cause problems even the biggest fans of this series.

Game modes

In addition to the single-player mode, the game also offers the possibility of having fun together for up to four people. Unfortunately, the multiplayer mode does not support online gameplay, it can only be played locally on one console. The title also has an online scoreboard where we can compare our results with the those of the greatest Star Trek fans.

The virtual game show studio was built in such a way to resemble the bridge of the Enterprise ship. Players can choose from four thematic avatars that they will use while playing: lieutenant Uhura, a Vulcan officer, a federal cadet and an alien from Orion. The game also includes the music and sound effects known from the game show.
