Agony, or how to get from Gamescom to Hell with just one gameplay

Madmind Studio's Agony is a first-person survival horror set in Hell. Announced at Gamescom 2016, it's scheduled for a 2017 release, and heading to PC and next-gen consoles.

Has anybody ever told you to go to hell? If so, and you felt upset, you should actually be glad that their curse didn’t work, for if it did, you might’ve ended up just like Agony’s protagonist – in a literal hell crawling with tribal demons, living meat-walls, and erratic hallucinations. But here’s the thing – if that description, rather than bone-chilling, sounds hot for you, cancel every appointment and book a ticket today. Estimated time of departure: 2017.

In order to survive in Agony, you – a poor tormented soul – will have to get through the infernal environment by controlling its noble residents and possessing simple-minded demon peasants. This, plus the need of running for your life when all the other survival measures fail to work. Additionally, teaming up with other weary souls wandering around Dante’s dark wood might be a good idea as well. After all, you’ll all be looking for your way out (trust me on that one), and the only way to do so will be by meeting the mystical Red Goddess.
