Cities Skylines 2 on Impressive Gameplay Trailer; Release Date Revealed
We learned the release date for Cities: Skylines 2, and it was revealed in an exciting trailer.
This year's Xbox Games Showcase also offered something for fans of economic strategy game. Colossal Order, creators of Cities: Skylines, presented a charming trailer giving a better look at the gameplay in the sequel. What's more, by the way, we also learned the release date of Cities: Skylines 2. It has been set for October 24, 2023.
Recall that Cities: Skylines 2 is a continuation of the well-known city management simulator, which won acclaim among both players and critics. The above trailer draws attention to the visual side of the game, which looks much more impressive than in the first part.
Interestingly, the game is being developed on the Unity engine, the same technology on which the first game was based. Thus, the developers have managed to use much more of its capabilities, without the risks associated with dealing with new tools. In addition, the use of Unity is expected to strongly facilitate the creation of mods for Cities: Skylines 2, which is what made the first part so popular.
The title will be available on PC, PS5 and XSX/S. It's also worth mentioning that pre-orders for Cities: Skylines 2 have launched.
