To tell you the truth, I didn't expect such news for three more weeks. Just three days ago, Playground Games presented attractions prepared for September in Forza Horizon 5 (Series 12) and hinted that October will see the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the series. It seemed that we would still have to wait a while for some details - but Microsoft gave us a pleasant surprise at the ongoing Tokyo Game Show.

The following anniversary trailer has hit the web, and with it the developer revealed a handful of details about the planned new features. Admittedly, we don't yet know such details as the list of cars being added to the game, but we still have something to when our appetites.

  1. FH5 will offer a new radio station, playing music from previous installments. It is expected to be a selection of songs most liked by fans.
  2. Another story (Horizon Story) will be addded; it's a series of story-driven missions depicting the history of Forza Horizon.
  3. The Midnight Battles from FH3, i.e. 1-on-1 street races in which the prizes are the opponents' cars, will return.
  4. The Festival Playlist activities in each season will be thematically related to one of the previous games in the series.

These and other, as yet undisclosed attractions will be introduced by an update scheduled for October 11. The Anniversary 13th Series, on the other hand, will begin two days later, on October 13.
