Rust Will Get a Major Visual Upgrade
Developers from Facepunch Studios informed that with the next update Rust will get considerable changes in the graphics. Other aspects of the game will also be improved.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- May update for Rust will bring big changes in visuals;
- We will also get a significant modifications to Junkyard and a few other fixes.
Rust will soon receive another major update (via PCGamesN). It will bring a number of improvements to the gameplay, but the changes in visuals will be especially interesting. Developers announce that these will be the biggest changes in this area that the game has ever received.
"This is the culmination of work by the team over the last couple of years. It greatly improves how the game feels and we think gives it a fresh look," we read the press release.
In addition to visuals, the principles of operation of monuments will also change (the developers want to enable smoother transition between locations). Additionally, the Junkyard will be thoroughly rebuilt - we will receive, among others, a playable crane. There will also be other improvements. Details of all the planned changes will be presented later today in a special blog note.
The full version of Rust was released on PC in February 2018. In a few weeks, the title will also launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
