WoW - Small Option Instantly Makes the Game Better; You'll Like This

Not all the changes in World of Warcraft Dragonflight have been advertised. One new setting can make the game experience much more pleasant. With just a few clicks in the options, you can forget about clicking through the rest of the game.

Although the vast majority of World of Warcraft players move with the WSAD keys, all interactions are done with the mouse. Along with a new option from the Dragonflight DLC you can forget about that. It's been quite a few months since the expansion's release, but this particular quality of life feature hasn't been discussed or written about very often.

Interactions in World of Warcraft using the keyboard

Currently, in the vast majority of games, we interact with NPCs or objects by pressing a key on the keyboard (usually the "E" or "F" key). For years, this feature was not present in World of Warcraft and you still had to do everything with the mouse. Release of the Dragonflight DLC changed that and the relevant option appeared in the game's settings, something that a lot of people still don't know about, despite the months that have passed since the release.

Keyboard interactions - how to enable the option?

  1. While in the game, just press "Escape" and then select "Options".
  2. Further on, you no longer need to go through the various options windows, because the category you need is right there.
  3. In the "Controls" tab, check the box next to "Enable Interact Key" and assign an appropriate button for interacting with NPCs and the environment.

This is not something mandatory, but it will certainly be a big positive change for some players. After experiences with other games, returning to World of Wacraft may seem quite archaic in some aspects.. Therefore, even the smallest quality of life changes are something positive. We hope to see more changes to facilitate gameplay soon.
