The PlayStation is the iconic, trail-blazing console designed and developed by Sony. It was a console of the 5th generation, but it was the 1st to be designed entirely by Sony. It sported a 32-bit architecture, a CD drive and entire 2 MB of RAM. The console achieved a stunning success across the world, eventually delivering more than 100 million units worldwide. Apart from PS1 (PSX), a scaled-down version, the PSOne, was also available.

The action of Resident Evil 2 is set after the events shown in the first installment – nearly all citizens of Raccoon City have been infected by a mysterious virus, which changed them into bloodthirsty zombies.

We're given two protagonists - at the beginning we control only Jill Valentine from the elite S.T.A.R.S.

Developed by Capcom, the production is an expanded and uncensored version of the hit title that debuted in 1996 on the PlayStation console. In comparison with the original, Resident Evil: Director's Cut can boast, above all, the presence of three gameplay variants. Original Mode is a faithful copy of the original, not subjected to any changes or improvements.
