Godzilla and King Kong are returning to the big screens thanks to another cinematic spectacle featuring them. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will premiere on March 28. Viewers are certainly wondering whether it's worth staying a bit longer after the movie to see a post-credits scene. Did the creators include such bonus material?

Does Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Have a Post-Credit Scene?

Creators of major franchises, blockbusters, or superhero movies have accustomed audiences to expect a surprise in the form of a post-credits scene after the main movie ends. The MonsterVerse series seems to be an exception and unlike the MCU productions it does not have the custom of including additional materials at the end of the films. In the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, we will not see a post-credits scene. A similar situation occurred in the previous installment of the series.

What is Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire about?

Godzilla x Kong 2 is a monster movie and sequel of Godzilla vs Kong production. In the new spectacle of the MonsterVerse, Kong and Godzilla must face a huge, lethal threat that lurks in our world and threatens the existence of monsters and humans alike. The 2024 film delves into the history of the titans and unveils the mysteries of Skull Island.
