Multiplayer in Crab Champions
Right now, you can play Crab Champions solo or with up to 3 other players. The game is based on PvE mode. So, you and your friends can fight against an AI opponents in co-op. However, it may change in the future.
PvP in Crab Champions
At the time of writing this article, Crab Champions have only single player and co-op modes. You can’t fight against other players. However, an old trailer states that the game will feature Duel mode. You can watch it below.
What is more, the similar sentiment may be seen on Reddit in an old game’s FAQ, which states that there will be a PvP mode. On the official Discord channel, one of the moderators stated yesterday that “some form of pvp is planned to be implemented in the future”.
Above hints strongly that there will be a PvP mode added sooner or later. However, this information is not certain as the developer did not make an official statement. What is more, trailer and FAQ are quite old and many things could have changed meanwhile. Especially, taking into consideration, that the new FAQ on discord does not mention PvP. Nevertheless, there is a chance that it will happen. So, be patient.
