The player assumes the role of Sir Galahad, a knight of the Order that has fought the beasts for centuries. The action takes place mostly in London, where many authentic places and pieces of architecture can be found.

The action of the game was set in the zombie-controlled town of Bayou City, where a player-controlled character is sent to exterminate the living corpses. While creating the Extended Cut edition, developers from Headstrong Games studio implemented full support for the PlayStation Move controller.
