A Manor Lords player using the nickname desman2k6 boasted about an unusual feat. He managed to create a town in the Polish game, in which over 3000 people live. This is quite an achievement, considering that maintaining such a large population in the game requires an incredible sense of planning.

Sharing screenshots documenting the work on the Manor Lords subreddit, desman2k6 explained that the city wasn't created for visual purposes, but to "push the game to its limits."

In the end, the bottleneck will be the food and the trading post, because they are not replenished quickly enough! -- wrote desman2k6 in response to a comment.

Interestingly, such a large agglomeration can be supplied to the player despite having only one market. He believes that it is better to have one large marketplace than several smaller ones, which are currently "bugged."

I only use one market with a maximum of 169 stalls. I supplied vegetables, berries and bread myself for a long time (up to about 1500 inhabitants). At a certain point you have to buy [food] from the trading post! The next point is that warehouses and food stores have space right next to the market. So that only short routes are available for supplies! I have also specialized them. For example, 1 warehouse just for firewood and 1 warehouse just for clothing, so that it only takes care of this supply. It is best if only these warehouses and food stores have a stall at the market -- he continued to explain.

As you can probably imagine, a large city in the game also requires a considerable amount of effort from the computer. desman2k6 reported that although everything is fine at normal gameplay speed when the time is accelerated 3 or 12 times, the frame rate counter fluctuates between 1-3 fps. It's worth noting that desman2k6 has a pretty good computer, equipped with an RTX 2080 Ti graphics card, an Intel Core i9 9900K processor, and 32 GB of RAM.

To conclude, it's worth noting that the first beta version patch for Manor Lords has been released, including over 100 changes and new features. One of the changes concerns the supply of the market, so building cities similar to the work described above should be a bit easier from now on.
