Action Video Games64
Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash

A spin-off of the Senran Kagura series and a third-person shooter that sees us take part in water battles. In Peach Beach Splash, the female ninja adepts take part in a water gun tournament – the victorious team will have its single wish granted. The players are given a wide arsenal consisting of ten types of weapons, each equipped with two firing modes that can be switched at will.
Mobile Legends: Bang bang

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a mobile MOBA game (teams of 5 players face each other) developed by Moonton. Representatives of all kinds of specializations can meet on the game's arenas. Nothing stands in our way if we want to play as a tank, taking almost all of the enemy damage, a ranged mage or archer, a stealthy assassin, or a support that uses defensive abilities to aid his team in battle. Matches are five minutes long.

Machine Hunter

A shooting in which we observe the action from a top-down perspective. In Machine Hunter we play the role of a soldier equipped with a special suit allowing him to take control of the robots, which in turn gives him access to the arsenal used by them. This is important as the Eurocom Entertainment Software studio takes us to Mars, and our task is to counter the attack from aggressive aliens.
Heavy Fire: Red Shadow

Shenmue I & II is a compilation that features Shenmue, released in 1999, and Shenmue II, that debuted in 2001. Both games were slightly improved and now they feature the possibility to switch between classic and modern controls. They also support HD resolutions.
Cyber Sled

An action game in which we play as a kind of futuristic gladiators - pilots of tanks fighting for survival in specially prepared arenas. Developed by Namco Cyber Sled is a refreshed version of the production of the same title, which two years earlier debuted on arcade machines.
Xevious 3D/G

The fourth part of the popular Japanese shoot'em upów series, and the first installment of the series, which has been presented in a three-dimensional graphic design. Xevious 3D/G made its debut on slot machines, but after a year it also hit the PlayStation 1 console. The title allows us to become the pilot of a spacecraft, which was the last hope of humanity when the Earth found itself on the target of the aggressive Xevian race.
Masters of the Universe: He-Man - Defender of Grayskull

In Liberated, we find ourselves in a dystopian reality in which the authorities subject the citizens to extensive surveillance. In the course of the game, we follow the fate of four characters, among whom we will find both allies of the government and members of the resistance movement - the Liberated people in the title.

Science-fiction FPS, the debut work of the independent V1 Interactive team led by Marcus Lehto, former creative director at Bungie and one of the authors of the Halo series. The Disintegration game was released by Take-Two Interactive, which under the Private Division brand helps independent artists.

Gods Remastered

A remastered version of the platform action game from 1991. Gods Remastered takes us on a journey to ancient Greece, allowing us to take on the role of a daredevil working for the Olympic deities. In return for completing the task entrusted to him, the hero is to become immortal and take a place among the gods.
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India

The game translates the series’ mechanics into a 2.5D side-scrolling action-adventure game. The story is set in 1841, in India. The country is on the brink of open conflict as tensions increase between the Empire of Sikh and the British, who claim rights to Indian territory.
Resident Evil: Degeneration

Mobile representative of the cult survival horror series, loosely referring to the events presented in the animated film of the same title. Ideaworks 3D team is responsible for developing this title. Players take on the role of Leon S. Kennedy's task is to help in evacuating people trapped on Harvardville Airport in Raccoon City, which is overrun by zombies.
Gundam Battle Operation Next

A TTP science-fiction action game, based on the iconic Gundam franchise, very popular in Japan; the brand was started in 1979 with the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. Gundam Battle Operation Next was created by Bandai Namco (known for such productions as Ace Combat, Dragon Ball Z, Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Naruto) and utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions. Mechanics-wise, Gundam Battle Operation Next is a tactical TPP action game.
Double Dragon Trilogy

Double Dragon Trilogy tells of the adventures of two brothers – Billy and Jimmy Lee – Sou-Setsu-Ken masters, who run a small martial arts school in a post-apocalyptic New York.

In the game, we move to the Bullworth Academy - a famous American school for boys, and our task is to build a high position in the student community.

Demon Core is a first-person survival action game developed by a Finnish studio Apex Games. The game takes place in a world where the oil crisis hit hard. With natural sources of crude oil dried up, world's most powerful countries look for alternative sources of energy. The only effective method is the Russian engineers' invention, but they not intend to share it with the rest of the world. We play as a Russian lab scientist whose job is to survive the attacks of enemy forces bent on her files.
Crackdown 3

The third installment in a series of popular, open-world futuristic action games. Crackdown 3 introduces the franchise to the eighth-gen consoles. The game was created by Cloudgine – a British studio led by David Jones, who is the father of the series. Similar to the previous installments, the player is taken to a futuristic city of an open structure, assuming the role of a futuristic officer of the law who faces organized crime.

Heroes & Generals stands out from the competition with its three game modes, each being able to exist as a separate game. The first one is a classic FPS that emphasizes teamwork and realism on the battlefield. The second one is a browser MMO strategy, where the players command their troops, recruit new units, and launch military operations.
