Both areas are randomly generated before each game.
Outward

The realm the player is exploring is a dynamical place with changing weather conditions, seasons and NPCs that have their own things to take care of. Due to the autosave system, each decision and failure is final and cannot be changed.

The gameplay consists mostly of exploring, completing main and side quests, and fighting turn-based battles.
