A horror-themed action-adventure game allowing us to assume the role of Juliette Waters, a woman whose occupation is recording the voices of spirits. Interestingly enough, Sylvio is a project of an independent developer, Niklas Swanberg. Our heroine travels to an abandoned amusement park, left to decay after a powerful storm had led to a landslide. It quickly turns out that the spirits living in the park are very vicious, and the whole area is under the influence of a mysterious curse.

In Perception, we play as a blind girl named Cassie, who tries to discover the mystery of a certain mansion, whose visions has been haunting her in her dreams for some time. It turns out that the place is haunted by a ghost, which has been terrorizing the inhabitants of the house, and now it targets Cassie. We explore the dark mansions and look for clues to reveal the dark past of the building.

Pony Island

Unusual independent game created by Daniel Mullins for the Ludum Dare 31 in 2014 and then released for the Steam platform. The player directs a character trapped in a diabolic game, and his task is to get out and save his soul. Pony Island stands out mainly due to its gameplay. There are typical arcade sequences in the game, but it is much more important to be able to interfere with the code of a fictional application, which takes the form of simple logical games.

The players are taken to 1940s, assuming control of a World War I veteran who suddenly wakes up in an abandoned part of the somber facility in which he has been placed while awaiting a heart surgery. The title was created by Polish studio Crystalvision led by Sewer Hrehorowicz, the co-creator of OddPlanet platform game. Lovecraft Tales takes place in Vermont in New England, in an open world featuring hand-drawn 2D environment. The protagonist must eat, drink and find a safe hideout for the night in order to avoid madness.

The game is set several days after the events of the first installment and takes place during the day. The gameplay focuses on exploring and solving puzzles, as well as occasional fights with the ghosts. The protagonist's equipment is similar to that from the previous game, although she also has a few new gadgets.
