Before each performance, you decide the songs and where you want to be located: the general audience, the balconies, or even the stage.

We play as the titular rapping dog who tries his best to win the heart of his crush, Sunny Funny. PaRappa is aided by his two friends, cat enthusiast Katy Kat and the chubby bear PJ Berri, in his musical stunts. Gameplay did not change at all and remains the same as in the original game: PaRappa has to do many things to impress Sunny Funny.

After filling a special bar the player unlocks a critical insult that can eliminate the opponent.

By jumping you rotate the tiles near your avatar, changing their color to match it. If someone else steps onto your tile, they drop out of the game.
