This time the protagonist gets entangled in a complicated intrigue connected with a mysterious substance, which according to legends was in the Arc of the Covenant. The addictive scenario of the game is the work of Revolution Software, while the development was taken care of by Sumo Digital studio.

The player is put in the shoes of Paul Prospero - a detective who has developed certain paranormal abilities. The protagonist tries to solve the mystery behind the vanishing of a young boy. The player traverses an extensive, open world - the game is non-linear and the player is free to explore and look for subsequent clues.

Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress offers a new campaign that takes place in a previously uncharted area. The plot of the add-on is focused on a pirate captain and his crew who are confined on a cursed archipelago. The player helps the corsair save his beloved, find the legendary treasure, and suppress a mutiny on his ship.
