An official expansion pack for Left 4 Dead 2 - a cooperation-oriented FPS game created by Valve Software and released at the end of 2009. In The Passing, the players assume the roles of four characters from the original Left 4 Dead: Bill, Francis, Louis and Zoey. The main characters meet their equivalents from Left 4 Dead 2 in a small, agricultural town in Georgia, and the entire action is set between the events of the first and second campaign in Left 4 Dead 2.

Wasteland Angel is a post-apocalyptic action game with arcade elements. The player takes on the role of a soldier who, in an armoured and heavily armed vehicle, travels between dispersed human settlements. Dangerous gangs, renegades and mutants stand in its way. Another production set in a zombie-infested world. Deadlight, however, is an atmospheric 2D platform game, inspired by classic hits such as Another World or Flashback. It's the first title produced by Tequila Works, whose members used to work for such companies as Blizzard or Sony. You play as a former national park ranger named Randall Wayne, who's trying to find his missing wife and daughter.

A first-person MMO shooter set in the post-apocalyptic setting of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which was based on the motifs from Roadside Picnic, a novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. sZone is the debut production from the Russian studio Cybertime Systems. The players assume the role of stalkers – daredevils brave enough to venture deep inside the restricted area surrounding the destroyed nuclear plant in Chernobyl in search of valuable artifacts.
Frozen State

The debut production of the independent studio Snow Arc that combines elements of RPG and survival horror. Frozen State takes place in a devastated Siberian town where the Soviet authorities conducted experiments on advanced extraterrestrial technology. The situation got out of control, though, when the citizens had been attacked by an unknown parasite that turned humans into mutants. The action of Frozen State starts three years after the town was bombed.

Nuclear Throne

A roguelike post-apocalyptic 2D shooter developed by Vlambeer, an independent Dutch studio. The plot of Nuclear Throne was inspired by science-fiction movies from the 60s and 70s and tells a story of mutants fighting to seize control over a post-nuclear wasteland. In the game, we assume the role of a mutant of selected race and traverse irradiated locations, eliminating waves of incoming enemies.
State of Decay: Lifeline

The first large expansion to the popular survival game State of Decay. This sandbox title created by Undead Labs takes the player to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by a zombie plague. The player must rebuild the human society. The expansion adds a new campaign, the completing of which takes a few hours. The campaign tells a completely new story. The game takes place in a small city called Denforth, where the protagonist is sent in order to save the scientists that are there.

Richard & Alice is a classic point'n'click adventure where the creators did not want to create complex puzzles, but a thought-provoking story about survival, despair and family. The plot presents the fate of the title characters in difficult, postapocalyptic conditions prevailing on Earth. The game was shown in atmospheric retro graphics, reminiscent of 16-bit productions from the last century.

It is set in post-apocalyptic wasteland of a world destroyed by a nuclear war, with players taking roles of survivors who try to survive in this unfriendly environment. During the game we must constantly check our levels of hunger, thirst, and radiation, with the latter being very relevant to the overall condition of our body.

A sidescrolling shooter with a post-apocalyptic setting – Dead Metal Punks is a debut project created by an independent developer: Paul Scott. In Dead Metal Punks, the players get to visit a Borderlands-like world, where the action is presented from the side and the gameplay has been divided into two different modes. In the first mode, the players control the main protagonist – Lily, while the second mode revolves around driving a fancy tank.
FAR: Lone Sails

The production is set in a ruined world, which you traverse in an unusual vehicle resembling a combination of a boat and a train. The gameplay in Far: Lone Sails focuses on exploring locations in search of items, which allow you to survive. However, instead of seeking food or building shelters, you have to take care of your vessel.

Content-wise, the game doesn’t significantly deviate from the original, although the systems of combat, crafting, and building were altered in order to work with VR devices. The title is still an extensive RPG that takes us to an open post-apocalyptic world.
