The developers of the upcoming Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy have shared another trailer for the game. This time, fans have a chance to see a cut-scene that introduces one of the new antagonists.
On the occasion of the soon to begin gamescom 2021, more and more new trailers are appearing online. One of them is another clip from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. It shows a cut-scene, in which the Guardians encounter a new villain called Grand Unifier Rake. The character is loosely based on a character who made an appearance in 2008, in comics about Star-Lord and his crew. Rake is a cybernetically enhanced advocate and priest of an enigmatic religious organization. Its goal is to fulfill a "promise" and save the entire galaxy.
Let's add that along with the clip, we also received confirmation that the PC version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will offer full support for ray tracing and DLSS, which will be made available to the owners of Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards. The game will also be available on GeForce NOW.
The developer of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is Eidos Montreal, the studio that also created Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The title will be released on October 26 on PC, as well as PlayStation (PS4, PS5), Xbox (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) and Nintendo Switch (streaming only)..
