Hottest Launches of 2020 on Gamepressure.com

Today we summarize your activity at Gamepressure.com and discuss this year's launches that have stirred the greatest interest among you.

We summarize the passing year at Gamepressure.com. Today we present the hottest launches of 2020. In the list we also included games, which appeared only in early access.

How was this list created?

The list was created by you, because it is based on how much interest our readers expressed in all materials devoted to individual titles. We only took into account the period from one month before the release to one month after the release. We chose this methodology because otherwise the games that were released at the beginning of the year would be heavily rewarded.

For this reason, there are no PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S games in the list. These platforms have been available for too short a period on the market for reliable results. What's more, almost all games available on them are also available on last-gen consoles.

I don't think anyone will be surprised by the information that Cyberpunk 2077turned out to be the definitive leader . The game stirred great emotions before launch and its problems after it ensured that you continued to closely follow CD Projekt RED's latest work.

On the second place, we have Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, which is not surprising, because there is a lot of fans of the series among our readers and every new installment meets with great interest. The next two places were taken by hot PlayStation 4 exclusives, namely The Last of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. The top five closes with Mafia: Definitive Edition, which confirms the iconic status of the first installment.
