Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is a Zelda-meets-Naruto action RPG
Fans of good old PS2 action adventure games should keep an eye on Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom - a Zelda-meets-Naruto action RPG coming out this year for PC, XONE, PS4, and WiiU.
At last week’s E3 PC Gamer took note of an interesting project which many may have missed, distracted by bigger titles. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is an action RPG with elements of 3D platformer, reminiscent of good old PlayStation 2 games. With its environmental puzzles and combo-based combat system it has a bit of The Legend of Zelda and a bit of Naruto fighting games. Watch a 15-minute hands-on gameplay video by PC Gamer in order to get the gist:
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is going to invite you to a colorful fantasy world, which you explore as a humanlike cat (at least initially), determined to find and rescue his friend. On his quest the protagonist meets a cast of original creatures and strange enemies.
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is a debut project from a French indie studio Enigami. The game has now been in development for five years and is expected to be released later this year. The real good news is that the game is coming to PC, next to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
