The fourth edition of the cult series of shootings, embedded in a first-person perspective (FPS), which was developed by Raven Software (manufacturers, among others. Hexen: Beyond Heretic , and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II-Jedi Outcast), under the close supervision of members of id Software.
Action Quake IV begins shortly after the end of the second part, issued in 1997, the program. The nameless soldier who alone decided to cross the Strogg homeworld, ultimately defeating the main enemy-Makrona. A painful blow, which was a race of alien not sealed their defeat. After the enemy soldiers and przegrupowaly have created a new and real threat. In addition, Stroggs have designated to life a new Makrona, much more dangerous than their current leader. Special commando group into action, introducing under the code name Rhino Squad. Her job is simple: once and for all get rid of the alien.
Note: A Demo of the game Quake 4 version v. 1.42. designed to be multiplayer. Includes three multiplayer maps: Verticon (q4xtourney2), Over the Edge (q4dm7) and Speed Trap (q4ctf3).
