Star Wars Republic Commando: Remaster is a mod for Star Wars Republic Commando, created by RC Remaster devs.

Description:

This is a remaster that upscales/replaces the textures (basically sharper and higher resolution. Also offers HUD remaster that outclasses everything else! Along with a fixed cursor texture, now also HD menu textures, more normal maps. Bump mapping erropr fix and other general fixes!. The goal of this mod is to improve the gameplay experience and make the game look a bit more modern.

Instructions:

1. Copy the original textures and StaticMeshes folder and make a backup of it!

Location:

For CD/DVD users:

'\Program Files (x86)\lucasarts\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData'

For Steam users:

'\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData'

For GOG users:

'\GOG Games\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData'

2. Download Leons latest RC fix and install it (it's required)

3. Copy the Textures, StaticMeshes, Properties and System folder and paste it into the Star Wars 'Republic Commando\GameData' folder and click replace.

4. Want to install the reshade? (Optional, read q&a below). Read the 'Reshade readme' file in the Reshade folder and follow the steps.

5. Launch the game and enjoy!

Q & A:

1.Q-Textures aren't working.

A-Redo the steps mate.

2.Q-Multiplayer doesn't work.

A-The host has to have the exact same files as the other players, so both have to have the mod installed.

3.Q-Is the reshade mandatory?

A-No, but we recommend it.

4.Q-Is this the same reshade as Battlefront 2 Remastered uses?

A-Yes, it is based on the same reshade, as its easy for people to install

and generally works better, but not the same preset.
