Cheaper Peasants and Militia for EMERGENCIES is a mod for Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, created by VampiresZombiesLiches.
Description:
Are you constantly angering the people of your province? Do you wish you didn't have to wait so long just to hire some quick troops just to take care of a petty rebellion? Do you need a quick garrison of troops to defend your province from an invasion while you wait for reinforcements from one of your other knights? Then this mod is for you!
Reduced the cost of Peasants from 200 gold to 50 gold and worker cost from 3 to 1. Reduced the cost of Militia from 300 gold to 100 gold and worker cost from 2 to 1. Now you can have a quick army incase of invasion or rebellion emergencies. Unfortunately AI also benefits from this change so you could possibly see more wars happening.
Instructions:
NOT COMPATIBLE with "Reduced cost of soldiers in gold food and levy" or "More Units and no work cost for units" or "IMMERSIVE Army Gold Upkeep" They replace the same file. Pick one or the other.
Dont forget to backup your files!
Where to install and how: Go to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of Honor II\Defs" and replace the "units.csv" file with my modified file. Or simply go to steam library and right click "Knights of Sovereign II", then click on "Properties", then click on "Local Files", then click on "Browse" and then look for the folder "Defs" that should take you to where the def files are. Every update may require you to reinstall the mod as this is a manual installation and the updates usually installs new files and replaces old ones with their patch changes. As long as the future updates do not touch the file "units.csv" you wont need to reinstall this mod every update.
