Proper Windows 7 Fix is a mod for Act of War, created by tomsons26. It fixes compatibility with Windows 7.
How to install:
Paste d3d9.dll in THE GAME's folder
Set the game exe's in compatibility to Run program as administrator and EugLoadingBar.exe in EugLoadingBar folder's compatibility to Windows XP SP2 to fix the movies and loadscreens.
Unlike the previous proxy this one does not crash when changing resolution, in fact it did not crash at all for me, and works for the expansion too.
Tested only on Retail AoW 1.06 and Retail HT 1.01, but should work for all version's.
