APACHE DOS UPDATE
These files are the necessary files to update the Aug 1995 DOS version of Apache. They are not necessary for the Windows 95 compatable version of Apache! This will enable you to play Hind vs Apache. The files also fix all the bugs fixed by the earlier patches including the modem-play difficulties, the mission crash problems, and others.
First, run the self-extracting archive in a temporary directory as follows:
patch -d
Then you must delete the APACHE.BAT & APACHE95.EXE files from the APACHE directory on your hard drive. You must then copy the APACHE.EXE file to that directory. You must also copy all the files in the Apache MISSDATA & 3DDATA directories from the directories created by the patch command the MISSDATA & 3DDATA Apache directories on your hard drive. The temporary directories and the downloaded patch, APCHPTCH.EXE, can then be deleted to free up disk space.
