After a huge success which it enjoyed among strategists game Waterloo: Napoleon's Last Battle, the team of Breakaway Games decided to use the same engine for the creation of the next strategy. This time withdrawn a little at a time to reflect one of the most important battles of the Napoleonic campaign – battle of Austerlitz. Allied troops, under the command of veteran General Mikhail Kutuzov called Fox, Napoleonic army face turned to the North.
Despite the prevailing forces, the troops were commanded not associated by unanimity, which in turn led to logistical errors and dispersion of troops. Came to the front to Russian Tsar Alexander and de facto took over command from the hands of Kutuzov, and Austrian armies have been deprived of the presence of the emperor Francis II, who preferred to seek a peaceful solution to this conflict. In addition, the genius of Napoleon allowed it to provide associates army tactics, so that Austerlitz was perfectly prepared to take the offensive.
