Avatar Enhanced is a mod for James Cameron's Avatar: The Game, created by miraak49.
Description:
Improves several aspects of the game and restore cut content.
SYSTEM:
1. Removed One-frame Latency
2. Removed Mouse speed clamp (Mouse speed is no longer limited, better compatibility with high DPI mouses)
3. Improved Alt Tabbing for Exclusive Fullscreen
4. Exclusive Content is enabled (no need to download my other mod)
GRAPHICS/AMBIANCE:
1. Disabled Depth of Field
2. Slightly improved distant terrain rendering
3. All maps now support a complete day/night cycle with fully visible transitions and equal timing (take around 15/20min to switch)
4. Restored some loading screens for Hell's Gate and Hometree (the game was supposed to use different loading screens for those areas depending on your progression in the story, but the conditions were just left empty)
5. Animations have been turned on for the Berserk, Fury, Zeta Field, Pandora's Protection, Chromatic Blend and Pandora's Union skills
6. Berserk skill was missing one visual effect
7. Ultrasonic Repulsor skill now has an additional dust effect
8. Kinetic Dash I and II now use an alternate unused visual effect planned for it (the final one remain used for III and IV)
9. Viperwolf Healing skill now use it's intented visual effect instead of reusing the Na'vi one
10. Enemies no longer dissolve into a blue visual mess when dying (the bodies still disappear but at least it does not look as weird)
GAMEPLAY:
1. The Dual Wasps and the Bows can now be changed and equipped in any slot (however you can no longer use the top slot)
2. Bosses were buffed (mostly our friend Falco)
3. Enemies reload their weapons a bit faster (they were quite slow compared to the player)
4. In the end-game maps, some Na'vis have a chance to spawn with a Crossbow instead of a Bow
5. The unlocking progression was altered to make more sense and to make the game slightly more challenging (eg no more unlocking Militum armor, the 2nd best RDA armor as the first tier IV)
6. Restored a cut RDA skill: "Sacrifice", it deals high damage on a short range around you (much smaller than the Ultrasonic Repulsor), high cooldown
7. Enabled the Tusk Armor and the Standard Issue Armor for RDA
8. Enabled the Tsamsiyu Armor for Na'vi
9. Exclusive Content Armors are now only unlocked as tier IV
10. M30 ammo loot was increased from 10/20 to 20/30 to make the M30 more viable
11. M30 ELITE variant is now visual only (like all other Exclusive weapons) and the tier I version has been enabled (in vanilla the damage difference was not even 5% anyway)
12. Scorpions and Dragons can now use their Rockets (just like in the Demo), Scorpion ammo count was slightly decreased
-RDA Weapons:
1. Dual Wasp Damage was highly buffed, Clip size was standardized to 24, No longer has infinite ammo (max 125)
2. Assault Riffle Clip size was standardized to 50
3. Standard Issue Riffle Damage was increased but Rate of Fire was decreased, Clip size was standardized to 32, Max ammo was decreased to 64
4. Shotgun Range was just slightly increased, Clip size was changed to 6/8/8/12
5. Flamethrower Max ammo was increased to 200/300/400/500
6. M60 Must now be reloaded (clip size 150)
7. Nail Gun Must now be reloaded (clip size 100), Final max ammo was decreased to 400
8. Grenade Launcher Range was decreased, Reload time was increased, Clip size was changed to 3/5, Max ammo was decreased to 5/7/7/10
-Na'vi Weapons:
1. M30 Must now be reloaded (clip size 150), has stats (Accuracy, Rate of Fire...) similar to the RDA M60 instead of being based on the Assault Riffle, Max ammo was increased to 300/350/400/450
2. Crossbow Range was decreased, Max ammo was increased to 5/7/7/10
3. Club/Axe Radius was increased, can no longer damage enemies behind you when really close
4. Dual Blades Damage was decreased, can no longer damage enemies behind you when really close
-RDA Armors:
1. Brasher Armor now offer a slight Mobility boost
2. Mishetica Armor now has new stats instead of being a copy of Centaury Armor
-Na'vi Armors:
1. Taronyu Armor now offers a slight Mobility boost
2. NAWMA Taronyu Armor now offers a big Mobility boost
3. NAWMA Tsamiyu Armor has better Vitality
4. NAWMA Ni'awve Armor now offers a medium Mobility boost
5. Eyktan Armor has better Vitality
-Skills:
1. Elite Training tier III Magnitude was increased (the tier III version of the skill offered no improvements at all over the tier II)
2. Berserk/Whirl of Fury tier IV Duration was increased (the tier IV version of the skill offered no improvements at all over the tier III)
3. Chromatic Blend/Pandora's Union tier IV Duration was increased (the tier IV version of the skill offered no improvements at all over the tier III)
4. Zeta Field/Pandora's Protection tier IV Magnitude was slightly decreased
5. Titan's Bash Duration and Radius was slightly nerfed on all tiers but the Cooldown was slightly lowered for tier III and IV
6. Beast's Aegis Duration was increased (even more for tier IV), Cooldown increased for tier IV, The summoned Thanator is now much stronger, similar to the one you can ride in Torukä Na'ring
PANDROPEDIA & TEXT FIXES:
1. Restored multiple cut entries, some will be available from the start, for others you will need to finish the game
2. NAWMA Ni'awve Armor's name was corrected (was incorrectly named NAWMA Eyktan)
3. Axes having wrong names and missing tier numbers was corrected
4. The missing suffix was added to Clubs and Crossbows names
Known Issues/What's Next:
The texts have only been updated for French and English
The day/night cycle on Echo Chasm looks weird
Sacrifice is also supposed to harm you, once i find a way to do that i will adjust the stats of the skill accordingly
Finding a way to get the top weapon slot to work for any weapon (just like in Multiplayer)
Prevent the bodies from instantly disappearing
Getting the cut AMP Knife to work

INSTALLATION:
-To use this mod alone:
Replace patch.pak located in James Camerons Avatar The Game\Data_Win32 with this one
-To use with other mods:
Unpack patch.pak located in James Camerons Avatar The Game\Data_Win32 using the unpacker tool (drag and drop on the .exe)
Then copy the content of the "MERGING" folder into the newly created "patch_unpack" folder
Then repack that the same way you unpacked it (drag and drop the folder on the .exe) and put it in James Camerons Avatar The Game\Data_Win32. (Make sure it's called patch.pak and replace the old one).
