Clannad - Game Mod - Kanon English Patch - Download

Kanon English Patch is a mod for Kanon, created by non-directional translations (NDT).

Description:

This is a fan-made translation of classic visual novel from 1999. It was Key’s first work and had great influence over entire VN genre, but for some reason it never received official English version. This mod changes this.

Important note: this patch is quite old. Some new anti-vir software falsely detects it as a danger, but this is only because they don’t have it’s definition. The patch itself is 100% safe.

Instructions:

Just extract the archive and the one in it until you get “Patch files “ folder. Then copy it’s contents to Kanon main directory and overwrite everything.

What you need for this:

Kanon Standard Edition (18+)

All Ages has been confirmed working with this patch,

but it's not currently supported at this time.

How to tell if you have the correct version:

Check the exe. If it says Reallive.exe, then our patch should work with it.

If it says vAVG32.exe, then you have the original copy of Kanon, our patch

will not work. We will probably never support AVG32.

Sorry if you are one of these people.

This patch has an all-ages version.

If you wish for this, copy the seens out of the All Ages folder into Kanon main directory.

However, this will not block mature CGs from the gallery. If you have already seen them, they will appear in the gallery.

Therefore, all-ages works best on a fresh install of Kanon.

If you are prompted for the font, choose DejaVu Sans Mono.

If you don't have this, please install the font provided.

Note: This is for optimal playing since lines are lined up nicely with this font.

You can choose other fonts; however, it won't come out looking as nice.

Reminder: Be sure to set the players' name in Kanon.
