Widescreen & FOV Fix is a mod for CT Special Forces: Fire for Effect, created by AlphaYellow
Description:
Comes with a ZIP file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the resolution in the action third-person shooter game "CT Special Forces: Fire for Effect" (2005), since the game only runs at limited 4:3 and 16:10 resolutions by default.
Instructions:
1. Extract all files to the game folder.
2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of dinput8.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.
3. Set the desired FOV factor in CTSpecialForceFireForEffectWidescreenFix.ini.
4. In the configuration launcher (CT Special Forces.exe), set the desired resolution.
- Issues:
:-: Setting a FOV factor higher than 1.5/1.6 might crash the game at some point (I have no idea why this happens).
