Enhanced Craft is a mod for Cyberpunk 2077, created by DJ_Kovrik.

Description:

Extends default crafting capabilities allowing you to choose clothes and weapons skins, plus weapons damage type and name while crafting.

Enhanced Weapons Craft extends in-game crafting menu with a few new HUD elements and hotkeys for switching between weapon variants and using any custom name for crafted weapon, as well as adds a few config options so you can tweak all new features as you like (when you see a text highlighted with yellow like this it means config option reference). Affects weapons crafting only.

Behind the scenes

The mod does not add new weapon recipes; instead, it assigns additional item variants for each craftable weapon recipe (so-called "Presets" which have different appearance) and then replaces the item record for the crafted weapon with a record from the chosen preset to give you a new item. I tried to make it look like an actual craft, but this approach still has a few flaws mentioned below.

Customized damage type

If this function is enabled then you will be able to choose a secondary damage type for crafted weapons: chemical, electrical, physical or thermal (in the vanilla game these types are assigned randomly). And Required perk option allows you to tweak when this feature becomes available. Possible options:

Basic weapon variants

Alternate weapon variants availability might be controlled by the perks from Crafting tree which you have; you can configure that with Perk to unlock basic variants. Available options here:

All basic variants require the same amount of ingredients as the original recipe.

Iconic weapon variants

Because the mod gives you an actual item instead of creating it and to make things feel less like cheating Iconic variants availability also depends on perks and has a few additional options which you can tweak.

Iconics unlock requirement:

No perk required (not recommended)

Disable Iconics craft (completely removes Iconic variants)

True Craftsman perk

Grease Monkey perk

Edgerunner Artisan perk (selected by default)

On top of that you can adjust Recipe quality requirement option which defines if recipe with particular quality should have Iconics or not. Options here:

Rare and above - Iconic variants available for Rare, Epic and Legendary recipes

Epic and above - Iconic variants available for Epic and Legendary recipes (selected by default)

Legendary - Iconic variants available for Legendary recipes only

And finally, Ingredients multiplier defines how many ingredients Iconic variant requires compared to the normal one (x5 by default). For example, if some weapon crafting requires 22 Rare item components, 22 Epic item components and 6 Legendary item components, then with default settings Iconic version will require 110 Rare, 110 Epic and 30 Legendary components.

Randomizer

Instead of choosing a weapon variant manually, you can enable Randomizer option and get a randomly assigned preset for a crafted item (Iconics not included here), controlled by Enable randomizer option.

Weapons naming

When you have any weapon recipe selected, a text input field appears so you can assign your newly created weapon any custom name. Weapon names persisted to your save game and are attached to weapons only while you have it in your inventory, stash is not supported at the moment. Controlled by Enable custom names option.

Clothes

Clothes variants availability also can be controlled with similar Required perk option. In addition to it there is an Include jackets from DLC option which enables crafting jacket variants from free V's New Jackets DLC. And finally there are a few improvements for the crafting panel as well: you can rotate (with Q and E keys), scale (mouse scroll) and move (with left mouse button hold) player puppet preview.

Controllers support

When you enable this option weapon variant selection hotkeys will be replaced with Y_TRIANGLE and X_SQUARE

Known issues

A lot of item presets have additional variations for themselves as well; it might cause the situation when for example, you selected Neon Preset and weapon preview has pink color but crafted weapon will get green color etc. Can be smoothed a bit with Randomizer.

Some weapon inventory icons might not match how the item looks, looks like it's a vanilla game problem.

Clothes and weapon variants list always contains original recipe as a first item and "Default" item preset as a second item. Both items often look the same but for some weapons "Default" presets looks slightly different than craftable so I decided to keep defaults in the list.

Text input supports English only.

You can't edit your saved games which were made having this mod installed with any save editor. To fix that just uninstall the mod and made a new save.

This mod requires  Redscript. ArchiveXL, RED4extv, TweakXL and Native Settings UI

Download Enhanced Craft and extract the archive into game’s main folder.
