I love SL1 runs and wanted to try modding, so here you go. This mod pushes SL1 challenge even further.

Any kind of feedback is welcome.

What this mod does

There are two main things:

A) This mod allows you to make a character with all stats equal to 0 (aka SL0). At 0 Vitality and 0 Endurance you will have a character with 400 HP, 80 stamina, 40 equip load. For comparison, standard SL1 char (Pyromancer) has 573 HP, 93 stamina, 51 equip load and 73 def.

Optionally you can make HP equal to 1.

Note, that you still can level up your character if you want.

B) There is no weapon wieldable with 0 str and 0 dex, thereby this mod removes stat requirements. You can use all weapons at SL0 with this mod.

On one hand, I would suggest to restrict your weapon usage, if you want a challenge. As a reference you can use this list of weapons usable at SL1.

On the other hand, using high damage weapons at SL0 can be an interesting challenge on its own due to high stamina consumptions and slow attack speed. Also weapons will have 0 scaling bonus, leading to smaller damage than you used to.

The mod also removes all stats requirements for spells, but you will need to level up attunement to equip them.

Note, if you want, you can pick any other standard class (besides Deprived) and play the game normally, but with no stats requirements.

Installation instructions

A) If you have a standard working version of PtDE from Steam (it can be with DSFix):

Download my files and unpack them.

?Download Drag and Drop Mod Manager.? (DSDAD).

Open DSDAD.

Drag and drop the content of ForDSDAD folder into DSDAD.

Launch Dark Souls via DSDAD by pressing the button at the bottom right.

B) Alternatively, you can unpack your Dark Souls files for modding (which will take additional 7GB of space, but will let you to run the game directly from Steam):

?Unpack DS files using UnpackDSForModding mod?.

Download my files and unpack them.

In your Dark Souls folder navigate to: DATA folder and make a backup of the subfolders mentioned below.

Replace the files in the DATA\param\GameParam, DATA\msg\English and DATA\event folders with my files from ForDSDAD.

Launch Dark Souls via Steam.
